Aeration revitalizes and encourages roots to grow deeper by increasing the oxygen supply to the root zone for healthy, dense, green grass. The NEW Bannerman Tine Reel Assemblies allow for smoother operation, and more holes per square yard.
Aeration allows drainage of excess surface water, entry of moisture in dry sopts, and allows entry of fertilizer and organic topdressing. Aeration prior to watering directs water to the root zone, and also lets air deep into the soil. It can also reduce extreme compaction in soil in high traffic areas, and provide seed pockets for fast germination and better yield of grass seeds.
